“The web is a mile wide and an inch deep.”

True enough. But there’s tons of great stuff out there for starting up your internet business.

Here’s a quick snapshot of some resources I have uncovered lately…

Y Combinator
“Y Combinator is a new kind of venture firm specializing in funding early stage startups. We help startups through what is for many the hardest step, from idea to company.”

I came across this interesting new site by accident. An article posted here on Creative Entrepreneurship got a lot of attention this week. Looks like a very promising site & venture!

Fast Company
“Award-winning articles on business leadership and innovation”
Yeah, yeah… You know about the magazine already. But have you read the blog? I just started reading this week. Very useful stuff!

Internet Business Mastery Podcast
“An internet marketing podcast discussing how to prosper as an entrepreneur in your internet based business on the road to financial freedom.”

Yeah, yeah… I already gave these guys a glowing review. What can I say? I’m a very loyal fan. (And I’m itching to hear their next episode!!!) If you have ANY thoughts about starting an internet business, this is a “must listen.”

Next week, I’ll offer up some “Mindful Marketing Resources.” Let me know if you have any suggestions…

Since buying an iPod for personal use about six months ago, I have become a podcast fanatic!

With the iTunes system in wide use today, many free podcasts are available out there, but few are impressive enough or informative enough to keep me subscribing.

That said, occasionally I do come across some remarkable material. The gem I want to share with you today is the Internet Business Mastery (IBM) Podcast of internetbusinessmastery.com – the companion blog & website.

If you are interested in starting an internet business or already hard at work on your webpreneur riches, this podcast is an absolute MUST. The podcast is a weekly show hosted by two internet entrepreneurs, Sterling & Jay.  These two know what it takes to be successful online - they do it every day!

As of this writing, Sterling and Jay have 25 solid shows with between 30 and 60 minutes of great content per show! The podcasters are business partners, friends, and allies in their pursuit of financial and time freedom.

I really enjoy the casual but professional tone of their show. As a regular listener, I feel personally connected to Sterling and Jay because of their broadcast style - a feature that I believe will bring them a wide audience.  One of my personal goals right now is to start a thriving mastermind group and until that happens the IBM podcast is a nice substitute!

I strongly suggest you subscribe to their podcast and newsletter today!  Get a taste of what good podcasting sounds like and join these inspiring entrepreneurs…

Keep up the great work, Sterling & Jay.
